Log Jams and the Can at the End of the Rainbow

Welcome to Orlando, Florida! Quite a few interesting restroom experiences here. I dipped into restrooms from Hell, restrooms in the deep jungle, restrooms in Space... and the restrooms at the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios did not disappoint either!

In no particular order, let me give you the first.

While explaining the Restaurant to us, our waitress casually mentioned that we'd find the restrooms beneath the rainbow, and she pointed away into the lower section of the room. My wife and I just grinned at each other.

So I followed that rainbow,

and found something magical...

jk. this is it...

and then this...

It was a lot of wet inside, but it's a rainforest... right?

The facilities were otherwise clean, with seat covers, hand blasters, automatic faucets, and a big elephant in the room, which we're not discussing.

GREAT rating, with props for being brave enough and creative enough to do what more conservative establishments still do not dare, incorporating your restroom into the rest of your aesthetic. Fun!

About the log jam... that's from another location. We'll get there. (It's not what you think. At least it probably isn't.)

On Bathroom Aesthetics and Impartiality

Since we tend to pay attention in general to our surroundings, in restrooms the details are all assimilated and translated into very generalized responses.

In other words, sometimes for as clean as a restroom may be, the aesthetics are just wrong and leave you feeling icky. I'll try to be as impartial as possible, but let's face it, a lot comes down to how I generally feel while there.

This will undoubtedly, inevitably show in my ratings.

Restroom Goals

Restrooms that I would like to rate, but will take some time to get there.

1. Angel's Landing - Scout Lookout (It is a strenuous, 2.5 mile hike to the top. Well worth it, probably nasty, but I'm not there yet in any case. :)

2. The Louvre - obviously great, it would have to be.
