Bathroom Magic and Iron Blosam's

First off, there is a magical occurrence that you may have been privileged sometime in life to encounter. If there is any kind of equivalent to four leaf clover's in the bathroom, these toilet paper crystals are it. Just beautiful. (Or at least moderately interesting).

Now on to the next. My family has a timeshare in one of the oldest remaining timeshares in America. (It has been updated, and is still very nice, if old.) The room, however, was sitting up there without anybody in our family available to use it, so I packed up food and other essentials for 3 days, and then me and the nubbins went off on a vacation. AWESOME! Take a look at the view from our room at the Iron Blosam Lodge at Snowbird Resort.

(and yes, that is a bird on the balcony table. A bluejay stopped in to enjoy some goldfish that had been left in the bowl there.)

And this next picture is here because I thought it was hilarious.

Isn't she sweet to her little doll?

I set up the nubbins' bed in the darkest, most secluded little spot of the room.

Ironically enough, that put her right here.

The restroom was GREAT. The time with my cute little daughter was celestial. It's great to be a daddy.

On Bathroom Aesthetics and Impartiality

Since we tend to pay attention in general to our surroundings, in restrooms the details are all assimilated and translated into very generalized responses.

In other words, sometimes for as clean as a restroom may be, the aesthetics are just wrong and leave you feeling icky. I'll try to be as impartial as possible, but let's face it, a lot comes down to how I generally feel while there.

This will undoubtedly, inevitably show in my ratings.

Restroom Goals

Restrooms that I would like to rate, but will take some time to get there.

1. Angel's Landing - Scout Lookout (It is a strenuous, 2.5 mile hike to the top. Well worth it, probably nasty, but I'm not there yet in any case. :)

2. The Louvre - obviously great, it would have to be.
